We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and responsible Truck Driver to join a transportation and logistics team in Los Angeles, CA. This position will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between warehouses, distribution centers, businesses, and other designated locations while following assigned routes, delivery schedules, and applicable transportation and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable driving commercial vehicles, and able to complete deliveries efficiently and professionally. Previous professional truck driving experience may be preferred or required depending on the vehicle and employer. Training and onboarding may be provided for qualified candidates.
JOB INFORMATION
Position: Truck Driver
Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, vehicle type, and employer

Schedule: Daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available, with schedules based on routes, delivery requirements, and operational needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely operate assigned trucks and commercial vehicles according to company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Transport goods, products, materials, or freight between designated locations.
• Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules, and dispatch instructions.
• Complete pickups and deliveries accurately and on schedule.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Secure cargo properly to help prevent damage or shifting during transportation.
• Load and unload freight when required and according to company procedures.
• Verify delivery documents, shipping information, quantities, and customer details.
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, customers, and other team members regarding deliveries and route conditions.
• Maintain required delivery records, logs, receipts, and other transportation documentation.
• Use navigation systems, mobile devices, or transportation software to follow routes and communicate with dispatch.
• Report delays, accidents, vehicle problems, damaged merchandise, or delivery issues promptly.
• Maintain the assigned vehicle in a clean and professional condition.
• Follow company procedures for vehicle operation, cargo handling, workplace safety, and loss prevention.
• Complete assigned transportation and delivery duties according to company standards.
REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or equivalent may be preferred depending on the employer.
• Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) may be required for certain truck and commercial vehicle positions.
• Clean or acceptable driving record according to employer requirements and applicable regulations.
• Previous truck driving or commercial driving experience may be preferred or required depending on the position.
• Strong understanding of safe driving practices and transportation procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow routes, delivery schedules, and written or electronic instructions.
• Ability to inspect, secure, load, and unload cargo according to job requirements.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift or move freight when required.
• Basic ability to use GPS, navigation systems, mobile devices, or electronic logging systems.
• Professional and respectful attitude toward customers, coworkers, dispatchers, and supervisors.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as scheduled.
