We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare team in San Antonio, TX. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient outcomes.

JOB INFORMATION
Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Pay: $34.00 – $48.00 per hour, depending on experience, specialty, and qualifications
Location: San Antonio, TX
Employment Type: Full-time / W-2
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, including rotating days, nights, weekends, and holidays based on department needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct nursing care to patients according to established care plans.
- Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and report significant changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within the nurse’s scope of practice.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to treatment.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatment plans, and general care instructions.
- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Follow infection-control, medication-safety, and patient-safety procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and clinical situations.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Participate in quality-improvement and professional development activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Nursing diploma or degree from an approved nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas or eligibility to obtain/maintain required licensure.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Previous clinical nursing experience is preferred; specialty experience may be required for certain departments.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-assessment skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically and emotionally demanding clinical environment.
- Must meet applicable facility credentialing, background-check, and employment requirements.
