We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a pharmacy team in Dallas, TX. This position will support pharmacists with prescription processing, customer service, medication preparation, inventory management, and other day-to-day pharmacy operations.

JOB INFORMATION
Position: Pharmacy Technician
Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Full-time / W-2
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating evening and weekend shifts based on pharmacy needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations.
- Receive and process prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
- Enter prescription and patient information accurately into the pharmacy system.
- Assist customers at the pharmacy counter and respond to routine questions.
- Process prescription payments and assist with insurance information when applicable.
- Prepare medications for dispensing according to established procedures and pharmacist direction.
- Package and label prescriptions accurately under required supervision.
- Maintain patient and prescription records.
- Assist with prescription refill requests and communicate with healthcare providers when directed.
- Monitor medication and pharmacy supply inventory.
- Receive, organize, and stock pharmacy products.
- Assist with inventory counts and identify products that need to be reordered.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy workspace.
- Follow company procedures, privacy requirements, and medication-safety protocols.
- Refer clinical questions and medication-related concerns to the pharmacist.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician certification or registration as required for the position and applicable Texas regulations.
- Previous pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately enter information.
- Basic computer and pharmacy software skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Professional and courteous approach to customer service.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling patient information.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy pharmacy environment.
- Must meet applicable Texas registration, certification, and background-screening requirements.
