We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Order Picker to join a warehouse and distribution team in Columbus, OH. This position will be responsible for locating, picking, and preparing products for customer orders while helping maintain accurate inventory and efficient warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and able to follow order instructions accurately. Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is not required, as training may be provided.

JOB INFORMATION

Position: Order Picker
Pay: $16.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and employer

Schedule: Daytime, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts may be available, with schedules based on warehouse hours and operational needs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review customer orders and picking lists to identify required products and quantities.
• Locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse storage areas.
• Pick products accurately and efficiently according to customer orders.
• Verify product numbers, descriptions, quantities, and order information before completing picks.
• Place picked products in designated carts, totes, pallets, or staging areas.
• Assist with packing, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment when required.
• Replenish inventory locations and assist with basic warehouse organization.
• Inspect products for visible damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with inventory counts and report missing, damaged, or incorrectly located merchandise.
• Use handheld scanners, warehouse management systems, or other picking equipment when required and properly trained.
• Operate pallet jacks, carts, or other material-handling equipment when authorized and trained.
• Follow company procedures for order accuracy, inventory control, loss prevention, and workplace safety.
• Complete assigned picking, packing, stocking, and warehouse duties according to company standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• No college degree or formal warehouse education required.
• Interest in warehouse operations, order fulfillment, and logistics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written or electronic instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move around the warehouse throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move products and packages according to employer requirements.
• Basic ability to use or learn handheld scanners and warehouse inventory systems.
• Ability to accurately count products and verify order information.
• Professional and respectful attitude toward coworkers and supervisors.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts as scheduled.
