We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join a hospitality team in Los Angeles, CA. This position will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items used throughout the hotel or property.
The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous hotel, laundry, housekeeping, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as on-the-job training may be provided.
JOB INFORMATION
Position: Laundry Attendant
Pay: $17.50 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and hotel

Schedule: Various shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sort linens, towels, uniforms, and other items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment.
- Measure and use laundry products according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
- Fold and organize clean linens, towels, and other laundry items.
- Deliver clean laundry to housekeeping, guest rooms, or designated hotel departments.
- Collect soiled laundry from designated areas throughout the property.
- Maintain an organized and sanitary laundry room.
- Keep laundry equipment and work areas clean.
- Report damaged equipment, supply shortages, or maintenance concerns to a supervisor.
- Maintain adequate supplies of laundry products and notify management when replenishment is needed.
- Follow hotel procedures for handling damaged, lost, or specialty items.
- Follow workplace safety, sanitation, and chemical-handling procedures.
- Assist housekeeping staff with additional duties when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- No college degree or formal hospitality education required.
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, hotel, cleaning, or related experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn and operate commercial laundry equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull laundry bags or carts as required.
- Comfortable working around water, heat, cleaning products, and laundry equipment.
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays when scheduled.
