This position will be responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, answering questions, managing reservations, and providing assistance throughout the guest’s stay.
The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to remain calm and organized in a busy hotel environment. Previous hotel or front-desk experience is preferred but may not be required, as training can be provided.
JOB INFORMATION
Position: Hotel Front Desk Agent
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Various shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests and provide professional and courteous customer service.
- Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures.
- Verify reservations, identification, and guest information.
- Process room payments and other applicable charges.
- Answer questions regarding hotel services, amenities, policies, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests and coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments.
- Respond to telephone calls, emails, and front-desk inquiries.
- Make or update reservations when needed.
- Provide guests with directions and general information about the Orlando area.
- Address routine guest concerns and escalate more complex issues to a supervisor or manager.
- Maintain accurate guest records and front-desk documentation.
- Issue room keys and follow hotel security procedures.
- Assist with luggage or special guest requests when required by the property.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front-desk area.
- Follow hotel policies regarding guest privacy, payments, and safety.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service, hotel, retail, or front-desk experience is a plus but not required for all positions.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Additional language skills, including Spanish, are a plus.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel reservation systems.
- Professional appearance and friendly customer-service approach.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when handling guest concerns.
