JOB INFORMATION
Position: Furniture Sales Associate
Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and store

Schedule: Daytime and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, with schedules based on store hours and operational needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional assistance throughout the shopping experience.
• Help customers select furniture based on their needs, preferences, space, and budget.
• Explain product features, materials, dimensions, pricing, and available options.
• Recommend furniture and related home products when appropriate.
• Support store sales goals and promotional activities.
• Process purchases and assist with orders, returns, and exchanges according to store procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and attractive furniture displays and sales areas.
• Answer customer questions and provide information about products and store policies.
• Check product availability and assist with basic inventory inquiries.
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems when required.
• Follow company procedures for customer service, cash handling, loss prevention, and workplace safety.
• Complete assigned sales and customer service duties according to store standards.
REQUIREMENTS
• No college degree or formal retail education required.
• Interest in furniture, home furnishings, and customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and explain basic product features and specifications.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the sales floor throughout the workday.
• Basic ability to use or learn point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Professional and respectful attitude toward customers and coworkers.
• Basic English communication skills preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
