JOB INFORMATION
Position: Document Specialist
Pay: $24.50 – $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Houston, TX

Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and process business documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical documentation.
- Scan, upload, label, and archive documents according to company procedures.
- Enter and update document information in internal systems and databases.
- Review documents for missing information, formatting issues, or inconsistencies.
- Maintain organized electronic folders and document-management systems.
- Retrieve documents and information when requested by authorized employees.
- Track document status and follow up on outstanding documentation.
- Assist with preparing documents for internal review and approval.
- Maintain accurate records of processed and pending documents.
- Communicate with internal departments to obtain missing or updated information.
- Follow company procedures for document retention and organization.
- Handle confidential business information appropriately.
- Provide general administrative support when needed.
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in document processing, office administration, records management, data entry, or clerical work is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, email, and document-management systems.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to review information accurately and identify inconsistencies.
- Ability to manage multiple documents and deadlines.
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable following established procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
