We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join a healthcare team in Phoenix, AZ. The technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, assist patients throughout the imaging process, and work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

JOB INFORMATION
Position: Radiologic Technologist
Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Employment Type: Full-time / W-2
Work Arrangement: On-site
Schedule: Monday–Friday, with rotating shifts and occasional weekends based on department needs
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform diagnostic X-ray and other approved radiographic procedures according to physician orders.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly.
- Verify patient information and imaging orders before procedures.
- Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and monitor radiographic equipment according to established procedures.
- Follow radiation safety practices and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and repeat examinations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
- Communicate relevant observations or concerns to physicians and clinical staff.
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning when appropriate.
- Maintain imaging equipment and report technical issues to the appropriate department.
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and facility procedures.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Participate in quality-control and department improvement activities.
REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT certification or eligibility, as applicable to the position.
- Current Arizona radiologic technologist license or eligibility to obtain/maintain required state credentials.
- CPR/BLS certification may be required depending on the facility.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient positioning.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
